1. RAPSODY: WISDOM IS POWER TOUR

Get excited, because Grammy-Award nominated emcee Rapsody is dropping by Motorco to perform her latest project “Laila’s Wisdom.” Signed with super producer, 9th Wonder for Jamla Records, and most recently JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, her latest project focuses on love, confidence and living by passed-down wisdom. 2. NIGHT MARKET AT THE DURHAM
Wednesday December 6, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

3. FANTASIA: CHRISTMAS AFTER MIDNIGHT
Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 7:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Join Grammy-Award winning artist, N.C. homegirl and soulful songstress, Fantasia at the DPAC as she debuts melodies from her first holiday album, Christmas After Midnight. The 12-track project includes holiday favorites from “Silent Night” to “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” which features vocals from CeeLo Green. 4. SIP AND SHOP EVENT: UGLY SWEATER EDITION

6. BLACK AND OLD GOLD BALL
Saturday, December 9, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Join the Raleigh Area Alphas as they celebrate 91 years of service. The funds generated from the Black and Old Gold Ball will support the Phi Lambda Educational Foundation and educational programming for the youth in Wake and Johnston counties and throughout the state of North Carolina. 8. KOOLEY HIGH AT KINGS!

Catch lyricists Kooley High at Kings in Raleigh with special guests Ace Henderson and Danny Blaze. Kooley High’s latest EP, The Summer Sessions, was produced in part by Grammy-award winner 9th Wonder. DJ Ill Digitz will spin all night. 9. THE MAGIC OF AFRICAN RHYTHMS: BALANKORA – A HARVEST OF MEMORIES
Sunday, December 10, 2017, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

10. UPTOWN POETRY LOUNGE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Join Uptown Lounge in celebrating its one-year anniversary of creating a space for poets, singers and spoken word artists to share their talent.
