1. NASHVILLE SIGMAS FOUNDERS’ DAY CELEBRATION
Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Enjoy a fun night at TopGolf Nashville to celebrate the 104th Founders’ Day of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.  Come out to fellowship with the Nashville Sigmas at the premier golf entertainment & event complex and your favorite local hangout. 2. BITCOIN 101
Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Surely by now you have heard of the cryptocurrency wave, Bitcoin. Perhaps you are interested but do not know where to begin. Bitcoin 101 at TheLAB Nashville is just for you. Roger Flambo will be educating you on how to understand cryptocurrency trends and smart investing methods. 3. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR., ANNUAL CONVOCATION
Thursday, January 11, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Fisk University will host the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., convocation on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Fisk Memorial Chapel. The annual convocation commemorates the legacy of the late Civil Rights activist. The convocation is free and is open to the public. Learn more HERE. 

4. CONSCIOUS CONVERSATION: THE FUTURE OF NASHVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL
Thursday, January 11, 2018, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Conscious Conversation seeks to galvanize the general public around issues of community and economic development here in Nashville. The first Conscious Conversation of 2018 will highlight the future of Nashville General Hospital at Meharry. Join Conscious Conversation and The Equity Alliance at First Baptist Church Capitol Hill to hear the facts on the issue. They will engage in dialogue with a well-informed panel of stakeholders regarding the impact of Mayor Barry’s proposal on Nashville General Hospital. Learn more HERE. 

5. WINE & GRIND: HAPPY HOUR MIXER AND NETWORKING
Friday, January 12, 2018, 6:30 p.m.
End your work week the right way at TheLAB Nashville, a co-working space in the heart of the city, every Friday evening for a mixer and networking happy hour. You will have the opportunity to network with other Black professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives based here in Nashville and surrounding areas. 6. MLK GREEK SIP
Saturday, January 13, 2018, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Nashville, TN, is hosting its inaugural Greek Sip during MLK weekend and Nashville Greek Weekend 2018. The Nashville-NPHC Greek Sip will be held at WKND Hang Suite, so be there to fellowship with the Divine 9. General admission is $10, and undergrads get in for $5. 7. TRAP BRUNCH: MLK WEEKEND
Sunday, January 14, 2018, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Trap Brunch is back with another installment, but this time it’s the MLK weekend edition. Your ticket allows you to enjoy a mimosa and food prepared by Chef Keith Batts including Nashville Hot Chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, bacon & eggs, pineapple braised collards, and other menu items. 8. LOVE JONES: A HIP HOP + SOUL LOUNGE
Sunday, January 14, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
This Love Jones event will provide an evening full of live music and spoken word. Featured musical performances include Devin DC Crutcher and William Davenport, two talented artists and musicians who will be bringing the soul into the 9 Bar\Lounge. 9. SIP-N-SNAP ST. JUDE BENEFIT AT TOPGOLF
Sunday, January 14, 2018, 6:22 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Some of the best spoken word talent in Nashville are prepared to move you with their art. This annual fundraiser event hosted by the Lambda Iota Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., is a benefit for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The benefit will be held at TopGolf Nashville, and your ticket purchase includes admission, two drink tickets, and heavy appetizers. Learn more HERE.

10. THE ANNUAL MLK WEEKEND BLACKOUT
Sunday, January 14, 2018, 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
This all-Black affair is for the grown and sexy, the polished, the like-minded professionals, the fashionistas, and the A-list socialites. The MLK Weekend Blackout 2018 is going down at WKND Hang Suite, and it is hosted by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Tau Lambda and the Omicron Sigma Lambda chapters.
