The Professionals & Entrepreneurship Network (P.E.N.) is hosting a networking mixer at Ponobe’s Party Bar and Grille. 2. BILAL AT CITY WINERY NASHVILLE

Bilal, the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, musician, and producer, is one of the most dynamic neo-soul artists. He has established himself with his solo work, both as a signed artist and as an independent artist. He is also a popular collaborator having worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Common, Tweet, Robert Glasper, and his fellow Soulquarians. 4. RESEARCHING AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY & GENEALOGY
Saturday, February 3, 2018, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Nashville Chapter, will have a free workshop on genealogy and preservation. If you are interested in learning how to research and discover your families’ roots, or even if you want to learn how to preserve mementos, photographs, and heirlooms, then this event is for you. AAHGS Nashville invites you to attend this workshop where members will give a one-hour presentation and then spend the remaining time doing one-on-one consultation sessions to provide you with individualized advice. The event is sponsored by Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage as part of their Black History Month outreach events. 5. THE GREEK SIP

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Nashville, TN, is hosting The Greek Sip as a kickoff for Black History Month and the pregame before the big game this weekend. The Nashville-NPHC Greek Sip will be held at WKND Hang Suite, so be there to fellowship with the Divine 9. Calling all AKAs, Deltas, Zetas, and SGRhos! 6. FIRST SATURDAY ART CRAWL

On the first Saturday of every month, you can look forward to this visual arts event in the historic arts and entertainment center of downtown Nashville. Local art galleries located along Fifth Avenue of the Arts and in the Historic Arcade open their doors and showcase new exhibits each month. Many galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. 9. NASHVILLE BLACK PROFESSIONALS SUPER BOWL PARTY

Where will you be to watch Super Bowl LII when the Eagles take on the Patriots? Get your game face on and join the Nashville Black Professionals Social Networking Group at their 3rd annual super bowl party. There will be plenty of food for everyone, and before kickoff there will also be music, football trivia, and other entertainment while you mingle and pregame. 10. NFL’S SUPER SUNDAY PARTY AT 9 BAR
