1. ACTION LIVE ART SERIES: WHAT’S LOVE GOTTA DO WITH IT?
Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join the Action Live team for the last installment of their Art Series featuring local artists of various mediums. For Valentine’s Day, come experience live body painting with Paradigm CreatVe Group. I’ll be modeling for this event as well, so I look forward to seeing you guys there! 4. BLACK PANTHER VIP SCREENING
Thursday, February 15, 2018, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Celebrate Black History Month by supporting the opening night of Marvel’s “Black Panther” at Harper Theater. There will be raffles and a cocktail hour with music prior to the screening as well as a Black Panther look-a-like for photo ops. 5. BLACK PANTHER MOVIE CELEBRATION @ THE PROMONTORY
Thursday, February 15, 2018, 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Remy Martin and the Promontory are excited to host the after party for Remy’s screening of Marvel’s THE BLACK PANTHER. This Black Panther-themed party will have special guests, rare video, drink specials, and best in hip-hop and afrobeat music by DJ JAY ILLA. Come show off your fresh new threads like a celeb. 6. SIGMA CHRIS X KYLE SANTILLIAN PRESENT: BLACK PANTHER PARTY AND VIEWING

If you can’t hang Thursday night, Sigma Chris and Kyle Santillian are hosting a Black Panther viewing party and screening. 7. INTRODUCING RYAN ALEXANDER: INSPIRED BY YOU
Friday, February 16, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

8. BUY ART NOT VICES
Sunday, February 18, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
BUY ART, NOT VICES is a panel discussion and silent art auction that aims to celebrate Black history and culture. This is an opportunity to have a real discussion with industry influencers about the importance and value of buying art as opposed to materialistic vices. The work will be exhibited at NYCH gallery through March 1st and will be sold via silent auction. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Gray Matter Experience, a local nonprofit organization exposing Black youth to entrepreneurship and providing access to tools and resources to help them build businesses that impact their communities. 9. BETTY SHABAZZ INT’L CHARTER SCHOOL PRESENTS SCREENING OF BLACK PANTHER
Sunday, February 18, 2017, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Join your friends at the Betty Shabazz International Charter School as they transform Chatham’s Studio Movie Grill into the Kingdom of Wakanda for a cultural celebration and private showing of Marve’s Black Panther. This fundraising screening is a highly anticipated event where we can all come together to appreciate a good movie, but also to raise money for the charter school’s S.T.E.A.M (Science Technology Engineering Arts & Math) programmatic initiatives. Come in your flyest African attire or costume and enjoy music by Khari B and DJ B-Man. There will also be various presentations and a procession with African drummers and dancers. Learn more HERE.

10. THE BLACK WAKANDA PANTHER PARTY
Sunday, February 18, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
iO Improv Theater is back with another celebration of Black Blickity Blackness Black Girl Magic. This month’s lineup includes performances by Nev, Estefany Guzman, Tee Munoz, and Correy Bell. Marvel and Black history costumes are highly encouraged and welcomed. Learn more HERE.
