1. LUNDI GRAS FESTIVAL
Monday, February 12, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Zulu Lundi Gras Festival is a fun-filled day allowing the people of New Orleans and city visitors an up-close look at the Zulu Characters. The festival is free and open to the public. This event is hosted by the 800 members of the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club and they welcome you to a fun and exciting day of food, music, arts, and crafts along the beautiful riverfront of New Orleans. Learn more HERE.

2. ALL ABOUT THE 90’S
Monday, February 12, 2018, 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
Join DJ Slab while enjoying the sounds of DJ Raj Smoove playing all your favorite 90’s songs. You know the names: BBD, Tribe Called Quest, TLC, Monica, Hi-Five, Biggie, Tupac, and more. You’ll go on a ride back in time in the midst of the Mardi Gras season celebrating Lundi Gras, the eve of Fat Tuesday, and Zulu parade. 3. MASQUERADE & ZULU VIEWING PARTY
Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sampson Marketing Communications, Masterminds NOLA, and the owners of Backatown cordially invite you for a day of mysterious excellence as they present to you, Backatown Masquerade & Zulu Viewing Party. A soulful picturesque day on Basin Street awaits you as you can watch the Zulu Mardi Gras parade, enjoy bottomless coffee, dancing, conversing, and hors d’oeuvres while masked in mystique in a decadent environment. 4. KREWE OF ZULU PARADE
Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 8:00 a.m. 
One of the season’s most anticipated and remarkable parades is presented by the Krewe of Zulu, named after the largest ethnic group in South Africa. The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club was officially assembled in 1916. In its over 100-year history, it has become a highlight to the Mardi Gras season and people are up at the break of dawn to line up the streets on Fat Tuesday morning in hopes of getting an ornately decorated coconut throw, which is their trademark parade throw to the crowd. Learn more HERE.

5. LOVE JONES 7 VALENTINE’S DAY EDITION
Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Love Jones is the premiere monthly date night in New Orleans for you and your significant other. Or if you’re single and just want to treat yourself to a great night, bring your friends and meet someone new! 6. NOLAYP FEBRUARY GENERAL BODY MEETING
Thursday, February 15, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Urban League of Louisiana Young Professionals – Greater New Orleans chapter’s February meeting will be a celebration of Black History Month! They will have Malik Bartholomew give a Black history presentation entitled “Dare to Dream: 300 Years of Black Achievement in New Orleans.” They will also have Wendi Moore-O’Neal lead a singing circle and celebrate the month in song. Learn more HERE.

7. SILENT R&B PARTY
Friday, February 16, 2018, 9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Urban Fêtes Silent Parties are the city’s main attraction for party-goers out on the town! If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing this most thrilling event first hand, now is the time! This will be a special “R&B” edition Silent Party at Eiffel Society! 8. BLACK PANTHER WATCH PARTY AFTER PARTY
Friday, February 16, 2018, 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
To celebrate the release of the Marvel: Black Panther movie, The Urban League of Louisiana Young Professionals – Greater New Orleans Chapter is having a party after their now sold-out The Black Experience Watch Party. 9. THE TIPPING POINT
Friday, February 16, 2018, 11:00 p.m.

10. BLACK PANTHER PARTY BUS
Sunday, February 18, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
The Verve Collective presents the Black Panther Party Bus and After Party! Come dressed in all your Wakandan splendor for a night at the movies, Verve Collective style! The $25 ticket includes party bus ride, movie ticket, and free drinks on the bus. The Party Bus will leave Café Istanbul promptly at 6:00 PM and will return to Café Istanbul after the movie for the after-party. Learn more HERE.
