1. ROCK THE MIC/LYCEUM LECTURE SERIES WITH SYMONE SANDERS
Wednesday, February 21, 2018, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Hear from Democratic strategist and CNN political commentator Symone Sanders at North Carolina Central University’s annual lecture series. Sanders made history at the age of 25 by becoming the youngest press secretary for a candidate in a presidential race when she went to work for U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign. 2. AFTERHOURS: SCIENCE OF WINE ’18
Thursday, February 22, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Examine the science behind your favorite vintages and varieties with researchers, local wine sellers, cheese makers, and chocolatiers. 9. BLACK GENIUS BRUNCH, EXHIBIT AND CONVERSATION

Black Genius is back with their brunch series. Head to Beyú Caffè for great food and insightful visuals and conversation, including a gallery walk with photographs of tools used for freedom throughout history, short vignettes on the power of reclaiming the narrative of oppressive tools, and more!
