1. DINNER WITH FRIENDS FEATURING THE COCKTAIL BANDITS
Monday, February 26, 2018, 6:30 p.m.– 8:30 p.m.
Alley Twenty Six adds the perfect Black girl magic duo to their bar, Johnny Caldwell and Taneka Reaves, this week. Better known as the Cocktail Bandits, the two will guest bartend the second installment of their charity event series. The monthly-ticketed event features a five-course tasting menu, which spotlights different guest bartenders from across the south. Proceeds from the series benefit chef José Andrés’ foundation, World Central Kitchen. The Cocktail Bandits were recently named as two of Imbibe Magazine’s “75 People, Places and Flavors That Will Shape The Way You Drink in 2018.” Learn more HERE.  

2. PAINT IN POWER! BLACK HISTORY MONTH PAINT AND SIP
Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

3. WINE DOWN WEDNESDAYS

4. DANCE THEATER OF HARLEM
Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. 
Experience Harlem’s leading dance institution convey powerful messages of self-reliance, artistic relevance and individual responsibility at the Carolina Theatre. Now in its 48th year, the Dance Theatre of Harlem continues to tour nationally and internationally, train more than 500 students per year in ballet and other dance disciplines during winter and summer sessions, and transform lives with Dancing Through Barriers, an arts education and community engagement program. 5. YOUNG AFRICANS OF THE TRIANGLE PROFESSIONALS NETWORKING EVENT

7. COLOR OF CHANGE: BLACK MAGIC BRUNCH SERIES
Saturday, March 3, 2018, 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Don’t miss the new “Black Magic Brunch Series,” an initiative to ignite Black love, unity, and resources to combat the criminal justice system that has systematically criminalized and demonized  Black, Brown and poor people for decades in this country. 8. DARE COULTER’S “RIGHT BEFORE WE FLY” OPENING RECEPTION
Saturday, March, 3, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
“Right Before We Fly” is the first exhibition created through the Jo Ann Williams Artist Fellowship, which is supported by the Black on Black Project. The inaugural fellowship recipient, Dare Coulter, will present a sculptural installation that focuses on our audacity to dream beyond the limitations that are set before us. The goal of the Black on Black Project is to honor the central role race and ethnicity have played in American identity while also acknowledging other identities such as gender, sexual orientation, ability status, age, belief system, socioeconomic status, education level and more. 10. A$AP FERG MAD MAN TOUR
Sunday, March 4, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
A$AP Ferg stops by the Ritz to perform hits from “Still Striving,” his second mixtape. Released in August, the 14-song project features hip-hop artists including Meek Mill, Cam’ron, Migos, Busta Rhymes and Snoop Dogg. It produced the hit tracks “Plain Jane” and “East Coast (Remix)” while topping the R&B/hip-hop charts. IDK will join the tour. Learn more HERE.
