As part of the Black Arts Festival 2018, SOAR and BSU present “We Gon Be Alright!” This panel discussion, facilitated by Kara Olidge from the Amistad Research Center, will feature activists, artists, and educators from various disciplines to brainstorm what would a sustainable future look like for Black people, and how can we get there? 2. YOUNG FUNNY 2ND ANNIVERSARY PARTY

We are Young Funny is a local New Orleans based comedy troupe, founded by the late Jon Reaux. 3. NOLAYP MARCH GENERAL BODY MEETING
Thursday, March 15, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Urban League of Louisiana Young Professionals – Greater New Orleans chapter’s March meeting will have William Snowden from The Juror Project explain the importance of jury duty and the ramifications on our community when you don’t serve. 4. BLACK CINEMA SERIES
Thursday, March 15, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The first of a monthly film series hosted by Donna Duplantier and Art Space 3116. Black Cinema Series will highlight the local and national films created by African American filmmakers. 5. THE COUNTDOWN

6. ORLEANS ART AND WINE CLASS
Friday, March 16, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Mix It Up Creative Studio will provide you with your painting supplies, one 16×20 canvas and your first glass of wine.
