1. WINE & GRIND
Friday, April 6, 2018, 6:30 p.m.
End your work week the right way at theLAB Nashville, a co-working space in the heart of the city, every Friday evening for a mixer and networking happy hour. You will have the opportunity to network with other Black professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives based here in Nashville and surrounding areas. 2. THE GROOVE
Friday, April 6, 2018, 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Get ready for The Groove in the New Era Ballroom at Woolworth on 5th. This is a social where you can join other professionals mixing and mingling downtown while enjoying great music. Case Bloom will be providing the sounds. It is a free event, and there are drink specials at the bar. You can order food on the restaurant level, and there is another bar on the mezzanine level as well. You must be 21 and up to enter, and the attire for the event is dressy casual. Learn more HERE.

3. NASHVILLE BLACK PROFESSIONALS SATURDAY SOCIAL
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Nashville Black Professionals Social Networking Group hosts socials and mixers regularly for all of us to come together, network, and socialize in relaxed settings. This month’s social will be held at Arrington Vineyards where you can enjoy an evening of music, wine tasting, and socializing during Arrington’s “Jazz in the Vine” series. It is springtime, so this is the perfect opportunity for you to meet other Black professionals while enjoying the vineyards, picnic-style. 4. 19th ANNUAL RAGIN’ CAJUN CRAWFISH BOIL
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Spring is here, so that means it is time for large festivals in the city. Nashville’s original crawfish boil and music fest in Downtown Nashville is back this weekend at Cumberland Park. Enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, unlimited beer, and live music. You must be 21 and up to enter, tickets are non-refundable, and it is a rain or shine event. The Ragin’ Cajun Crawfish Boil is hosted by the Nashville Junior Chamber, and proceeds will benefit The Little Pantry That Could. Learn more HERE.

5. THE MANSION AFFAIR CASINO NIGHT
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 6:00 p.m.
Join the Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., for a fun-filled evening at the Mansion Affair Casino Night. Enjoy a classy, sophisticated night of casino games (free chips), music, free food, and an open bar. Prizes will be given to the top winners. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will help provide scholarships for young men in the Guide Right, Kappa League Program. 6. NASHVILLE’S FIRST SATURDAY ART CRAWL
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
On the first Saturday of every month, you can look forward to this visual arts event in the historic arts and entertainment center of downtown Nashville. Local art galleries located along Fifth Avenue of the Arts and in the Historic Arcade open their doors and showcase new exhibits each month. Many galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. 7. INDIA.ARIE WITH THE FISK JUBILEE SINGERS
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
The Fisk Jubilee Singers are having their Annual Spring Sing this weekend at the Ryman Auditorium. The beautiful and talented songstress India.Arie will be performing live with the Fisk Jubilee Singers. There will also be an opening performance by Lauren McClinton. 8. BLACK OUT FEATURING THE HAMILTONES
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 8:00 p.m.
The Hamiltones have thrilled audiences around the world as background vocalists for Grammy Award-winning Anthony Hamilton, and they have gained popularity with their unique covers of popular music, their harmonizing, and their own original music. They still sing background for Anthony Hamilton, but they headline their own shows as well. You can see The Hamiltones performing live this weekend at 3rd and Lindsley along with special guests Kim Fleming and Jovan Bender. 9. FUNKY GOOD TIME
Saturday, April 7, 2018, 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Funky Good Time is exactly what the name says. Be at The 5 Spot for this vinyl dance party that happens on the first Saturday of every month. Resident DJs Rad Ski, Bowls, and Case Bloom will be on the wheels, and there will be an opening set by Raw Wax. Daru Jones will be on the drums, and this month’s guest is DJ Day. Show up ready to dance to a variety of music including Funk, Soul, Disco, Latin, Boogie, and R&B. Have a funky good time. 10. SUNDAY NIGHT SOUL AT THE 5 SPOT
Sunday, April 8, 2018, 6:00 p.m.
If you have a little soul and rhythm, then you know to clap on 2 and 4. Just like that, Sunday Night Soul at The 5 Spot (#SNS5Spot) provides good music and good vibes on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. At each installment of #SNS5Spot you can look forward to hearing some of Nashville’s best soul artists and bands.
