1. FREE ADVANCED SCREENING OF “SORRY TO BOTHER YOU” BY BOOTS RILEY
Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 9:30 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.
Here’s a free screening of one of the most anticipated movies in 2018. Boots Riley’s deranged Sorry To Bother You is set in an alternate present-day version of Oakland, where Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta, Get Out) stars as telemarketer Cassius Green who discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a macabre universe. 2. POSH PARTY LIVE IN CHICAGO
Thursday, April 19, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Posh Party LIVE is coming to Chicago on Thursday, 4/19! 3. FREEDOM PARTY CHI

NYC’s longest-running most legendary old-school dance party hits Beauty Bar Chicago the 3rd Friday of every month for the illest old-school jam in the Midwest. They’ve got a sick sound system, a bona fide dance floor, affordable drinks, and hundreds of the nicest folks from all walks of life vibing together to the sounds of old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, soul, funk, disco, classic pop and house by Herbert Holler and friends. They’re taking over Silent Funny, located on W Chicago Ave, with two immersive installations to go along with a hand designed cat walk. 8. L O V E S E X Y (CHICAGO)

Salah Ananse and Kwest_on are back in Chicago for their annual tribute to Prince and all who love him. This year they’ve teamed up with RATED LIFE Radio Show’s Alexis Wofford for a day of Prince. 9. DUCKTALES – SUNDAY MORNING CARTOON BRUNCH
Sunday, April 22, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Every Sunday morning Carbon Arc Bar & Board takes over Theater 1 of the Davis Theater and shows cartoons! Using our direct-connect to the theater, your children can hang and watch cartoons while you enjoy some delicious grub and drinks! The shows start by 10:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm.
