7. BREWGALOO 2018 NC CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
Friday, April 27, 2018 – Saturday, April 28, 2018
Beer lovers! Brewgaloo is back with more than 90 local N.C. breweries for you to sample by the glass or pour, food trucks, live music, and the best of local shops. The two-day festival will kick off with a sampler event for $45 on Friday night followed by the main event on Saturday. There is no admission fee to enter the festival on Saturday. 8. GROOVE DAY PARTY + SMALL BIZ POP-UP SHOP

9. THE SOL EMPOWERED TOUR: CHANTAE CANN & LAURA REED
Saturday, April 28, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
After the Groove Day Party, head down the street to Motorco Music Hall to be serenaded by jazz artist Chantae Cann and neo-soul singer Laura Reed. Chantae Cann’s second studio album, Sol Empowered, released last year, earned the No. 8 spot on the Jazz Billboard Charts. She also has 10 years under her belt as a background vocalist for P.J. Morton, India Arie and more!
