1. 100 BLACK MEN OF CHICAGO, INC. – 2017 TOY DRIVE & HOLIDAY PARTY
Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc.’s Holiday Toy Drive raises thousands of dollars in toys and gift donations. Funds raised, to support this act of community kindness and engagement, are used to purchase additional gifts and personal necessities for women and children in homeless shelters, community outreach organizations, and health centers in an effort to make the holiday season a little brighter for those who are less fortunate. R&B band Delivery Point and DJ Ron Troupe will keep you dancing throughout the night. Complimentary Hors-d’oeuvres and a 50/50 raffle. 2. JESS HILARIOUS
Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Jess Hilarious, the social media sensation, is coming to the Chicago Improv Comedy Club for a special stand up series. You’ve seen her do it for the gram, now it’s time to watch her on the big stage. This is an 18 and over set with seating on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more here.

3. AMFM JUICE OPEN MIC
Thursday, December 7, 2017, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
AMFM Gallery is back with Juice!, their monthly open mic that takes place every first Thursday of the month. Come take the stage and show Chicago what you got! They are always looking for new acts for future shows, creating spaces for artists to perform their work, and listening to great new tunes with good vibes. Don a pair of headphones and dance/footwork/jack to 3 DJs spinning the hottest Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, and Chicago House hits from all eras. 8. VENDS + VIBES 2017: AN ARTS MARKETPLACE
Saturday, December 9, 2017, 12:00 p.m. – Sunday, December 10, 2017, 5:00 p.m.
Vends + Vibes is a two-day winter marketplace of unique handmade products made primarily by South Side artists and creative entrepreneurs. Enjoy sounds by DJs Duane Powell, Selah Say, Joe de Presser and AfroBang, and get your photo taken with Brother Nick. Creative activities for children and adults will be at four locations along historic Garfield Boulevard: Arts Incubator, BING Reading Room, Currency Exchange Café, and the KLEO Community Family Life Center. 9. BUMBAC JOE + PARLANT PARLANT

Bumbac Joe and Mr. Tim McNulty are “Parlant Parlant,” a fresh polygroove music project ready to release their new production. They’ve decided to put together a very well curated set featuring funk, salsa, Brazilian disco, afrobeat, cumbia, rare soul, boogaloo and more sounds from the African diaspora.
