1. HOLIDAY NOIRE POP UP
Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 4:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
This annual market is put on by Just Be, a collective of Black Women entrepreneurs in Oakland, California that provides virtual and face to face space for Black Women to grow their businesses through learning opportunities, networking, and mentorship. Learn more HERE.

2. KMEL HOLIDAY HOUSE OF SOUL FT. MIGUEL 
Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
KMEL presents it’s annual Holiday House of Soul featuring the one and only, Miguel. You won’t want to miss the crooner’s live performance. Newcomer TK Kravitz will open the show. Learn more HERE.

3. MICHAEL ERIC DYSON AT NOURSE THEATER
Friday, December 15, 2017, 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Born out of a 2016 New York Times op-ed piece Death in Black and White, Dyson’s book Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America is a provocative and deeply personal call for change. Come see him discuss this book and other topics at the Nourse Theater. Learn more HERE.

4. TEXT/TURE ART TALK
Friday, December 15, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
As part of their on-going public programming for the Black Women Over Breathing exhibition, the Betti Ono gallery will have a series of three-person artist and curator talks. This one focuses on the strategies artists us when working with text. Learn more HERE.

5. ALL RED EVERYTHING PARTY 
Friday, December 15, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
The Black Bay Area and Onyx present, “The All Red Everything Party!” Attendees are recommended to wear all red, upscale, semi-formal attire for this crimson function. One of the last parties of the year before NYE! Learn more HERE.

6. SOCIAL SIGNATURE SERIES FT. JERMAINE DUPRI
Saturday, December 16, 2017, 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

8. AFRO SOCA LOVE: OAKLAND
Saturday, December 16, 2017, 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
The largest Afrobeat and Soca celebration of LOVE in North America is headed to Oakland! Afro Soca Love: Oakland is an Afro-Caribbean rave infused celebration of LOVE. A unique rave inspired atmosphere with an African and Caribbean twist. Learn more HERE.

9. FANON: DECOLONIZING THE PSYCHE
Saturday, December 16, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Fanon: Decolonizing the Psyche: From Theory to Practice is presented by MATATU within a body of workshops that navigate self-determination, wellness, sovereignty, and roadmaps for the future. 10. CRWN MAGAZINE HOLIDAY PARTY
Sunday, December 17, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
