1. FROST FEST 2018
Wednesday, January 10, 2018 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
It’s supposed to warm up a little this week and we can recover from the effects of that “Bomb Cyclone” that tore up the East Coast. If you’re looking for something to do with BAE then Frost Fest is a quick ice skating activity that is a good look. 2. ENGAGE NETWORKING EVENT
Thursday, January 11, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
This is a monthly event held to support local Black-Owned businesses as well as organizations proactive about implementing change in Baltimore City. This specific event will be supporting Leaders Of the Beautiful Struggle (LBS) who lobby to make an impact on the city through public policy. If you’re interested in seeing change in Baltimore, then these are the people on the front lines. Here’s an opportunity to cultivate powerful relationships with motivated people.

3. INTERNATIONAL THURSDAY NIGHTS
Thursday, January 11, 2018 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

4. BALTIMORE RESTAURANT WEEK
Friday, January 12-21, 2018 12:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m.
If you are looking for a way to start the year off right then this is it! It’s time to eat good and the best restaurants in the city have got you covered. If you’re fearful of the infamous $200 date then restaurant week is for you! Sangria Patio Bar is always providing the post-work vibes in the city and this week will be no different. 6. GLOW ZONE PARTY AT SKY ZONE

I know you are probably thinking what kind of kiddie stuff is this, but don’t knock it til you try it. Sky Zone is really fun for all ages! 7. CURIOUS: A SUNDAY NIGHT SOCIAL

Events By Q and iQuell started the year off strong last week with the Day One Brunch. Hot off the heels of a resoundingly successful event, it appears they they are looking to apply pressure this year. Add Art Pusha and Larry Luv and not only should they have your curiousity, but most definitely your attention. 8. MLK JR. LUNCH, MOVIE, & DISCUSSION: I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO
Monday, January 15, 2018 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
On a day when we take time out to pay homage to one of our most prolific leaders, Mt Calvery AME Church will be have an event that is for the culture. They will be watching “I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO” and having lunch and a forum following the film. 9. MLK DAY CELEBRATION AT REGINALD F. LEWIS MUSEUM
Monday, January 15, 2018 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Head on down to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum where they will be celebrating Dr. King all afternoon. There will be performances, crafts, films, and discussions that honor his legacy. Stop by and see what they have going on. Learn more HERE.

10. DOVECOTE CAFE GRAND OPENING RIBBON CUTTING
Monday, January 15, 2018 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Dovecote Cafe has been a staple in the community for years and they are proud to announce that they officially own their building. Now if that isn’t something to celebrate then I don’t know what is.
