1. IN THE MIX HAPPY HOUR

2. FREEDOM SESSIONS
Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Get up close and personal with Free Dystopia as they perform and discuss the inspiration and process for their work. Free Dystopia is a Miami based three-piece band featuring Markus Caesar on bass and vocals, Ron Don on drums and Demi God Q on guitar. 3. EXHIBITION OPENING RECEPTION
Thursday, January 18, 2018, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum is honored to host the opening reception for Dawoud Bey: The Birmingham Project. In 2013, 50 years after the infamous attack on the African-American 16th Street Baptist Church, and the ensuing violence throughout Birmingham, Dawoud Bey made his first of what would be multiple visits to the city to create a commemorative project. Over the next seven years, Bey developed The Birmingham Project, a series of vibrant and poignant photographic portraits. Visit the museum and experience what Bey bought to life in his photos. 5. SCREENDANCE MIAMI 2018

Miami Light Project requests your presence for the opening night and 5th anniversary of ScreenDance Miami 2018! They will be screening the festival’s first feature-length film, Bronx Gothic, with ScreenTalk discussion and reception to follow. Support the Arts and enjoy dance that’s created for the camera. 6. 3RD ANNUAL DELTA 5K RACE FOR HEALTH
Saturday, January 20, 2018, 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Lace up your walking/running shoes and exercise with a purpose. Join the Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partnership with the Delta Education & Life Development Foundation as we race for HEALTH. 7. A PAINTED EVOLUTION

Lights, Camera, Runway! A Painted Evolution is a fundraising fashion show where the money raised is gifted to cancer patients and survivors to assist them with their medical payments and bills.
