1. THURSDAY VBZ
Thursday, January 18, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
This is a Thursday night wind down for the grown and sexy. The DJ will be spinning R&B all night with a touch of trap! A portion of proceeds made will help benefit the Oakland LGBT Center. Learn more HERE.

2. VIBE PRESENTED BY TOASTED LIFE

3. OAKHELLA + BEATHAUS PRESENTS SWEATHAUS
Friday, January 19, 2018, 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

4. WFTC TRIBAL SERIES: MENTAL HEALTH

5. WOMEN’S MARCH OAKLAND
Saturday, January 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Women’s March Oakland 2018 is a rally and march in partnership with the Bay Area chapter of the youth organization, March for Our Future. Join them and 22 other California chapters in hosting rallies on the anniversary of the historic Women’s March. Their anniversary event will focus on voter education and participation as well as uplifting tomorrow’s leaders, with the theme, “Hear Our Vote: March for Our Future.” Learn more HERE

6. THE GREAT MAC N’ CHEESE MELT OFF
Saturday, January 20-21, 2018, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The biggest Fête du Fromage in San Francisco is finally returning to SoMa StrEat Food Park! Find your gouda time at this Havarti party, where fifteen of the best food trucks and pop-up shops will be mixing up mouthwatering mac and cheese specials all day long. #LitBrunch will be located in the center of Downtown Oakland in one of the most beautiful art galleries in the town. This gathering is established to bring like-minded individuals to a creative space where they can be their authentic selves. You’ll be surrounded by positive vibes, diverse culture, and young professionals dedicated to impacting the world. Learn more HERE

9. BEAUTIFULLY BOLD

10. BLACK COFFEE SUNDAY 
Sunday, January 21, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This live music event offers a safe space for fun, as well as an environment for reflection and networking. It’s meant to be a momentary, but necessary, reprieve from the struggle. It’s to refuel and recharge you, to help you meet like-minded Black folks, and to mentally prepare you for a week where you might be one of the few, if not the only, who understands how hard it is to #staywoke.
