1. CENTERDC DINNER CLUB

2. FEMALE FOUNDER FOCUS GROUPS
Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Join the DC Women Founders Initiative as they advocate, strategize and collectively organize for your best interest as women founders. It’s now 2018 and they need to hear from you. They need your help in sharing your insight, challenges and identifying wins you’ve seen across D.C.’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. They will be collecting your stories on navigating this space, recording your challenges in building and scaling your enterprises and selecting notable participants to be featured in an upcoming Beacon publication. 3. ECSTATIC DANCE: METTABBANA
Thursday, February 1, 2018, 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
No shoes, no booze, no chit-chat on the dance floor. Join them for an hour and a half of electronic dance music DJ set with DC legend Mettabbana. It doesn’t matter where you work, what you believe in, or which titles you hold. This is a space to be authentically expressive: multi-faceted, radiant, complex, and embodied. So come more and sweat. 4. FIRST THURSDAYS WITH DJ DIASPORA
Thursday, February 1, 2018, 9:30 p.m. –1:30 a.m.
DJ Diaspora presents Broke ‘n Beat, First Thursdays at Marx Cafe. You will hear an always eclectic, always soulful range of music from near and far, vintage and brand new. 5. AFROPOLITAN DC: BLACK HERITAGE EXPERIENCE
Friday, February 2, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Happy new year and many blessings in 2018! AfropolitanDC is back again in February for the 2018 premiere and to kick-off the new year in style with “The Black Heritage Experience” as part of Black History Month celebration. Join them on Friday, February 2nd at Saint Yves for an amazing evening of connections. 6. BLACK ARTISANS DC LAUNCH PARTY
Friday, February 2, 2018, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Black Owned products are always the wave. Join them as they launch the new platform BLK + GRN. There will be light bites and beverages, beauty and wellness talk, and more fun with local Black artisans and entrepreneurs. 7. AFRO SOCA LOVE
Friday, February 2, 2018, 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
The largest Afrobeat and Soca celebration of LOVE in North America is headed to the nation’s capital. Afro Soca Love: Washington, DC is an Afro-Caribbean rave infused celebration of love. This event is a unique rave inspired atmosphere with an African and Caribbean twist, Afro Soca Love. 8. BRUNCH FEST: WASHINGTON DC
Saturday, February 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Brighten Up Your Winter Blues. That’s right, they’re bringing you snow tubing with a glow twist. Grab your friends and join them for a night of high speed fun skidding across the floodlit slopes at AvalancheXpress Snow Tubing. They’ll be kicking things off with a pregame at 4:30 PM before hopping aboard the #Fraylife Bus (BYOB). You’ll be entertained all the way to the slopes by the legendary Events Squad with games, treats, and more.They will have two hours of so-fun-it-should-not-be-allowed snow tubing action while warming up in between runs with s’mores around the fire.
