1. I HEART CITY LIFE HAPPY HOUR
Friday, February 9, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Live Baltimore is hosting a happy hour in the name of those who love life in the city. All proceeds will go to Live Baltimore’s mission to support and help Baltimore thrive. I’m sure there will be some great networking amongst attendees. With Oliver Brewing Co. hosting, at least there will be beer. Learn more HERE.

2. BALTIMORE BREW NIGHT
Friday, February 9, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Peabody Brewery is hosting a night for all the bikers in the city. My favorite event of the month, Baltimore Bike Party, is fundraising so if you like a brew or two then come through. There will be a DJ, photobooth, and Ekiben food. Learn more HERE.

3. FLOW WEEKEND TRAP TRAMPOLINE EVENT
Friday, February 9, 2018 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
If you have ever been to Sky Zone or any trampoline park then you know its pretty fun and a great exercise. Well, if you haven’t heard, its #FLOWWEEKEND this weekend so he’s setting it off with a cool activity but adding Trap music. As we know, Trap music makes everything better. No Lie! 4. BLACK HISTORY MONTH BRUNCH
Saturday, February 10, 2018 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This brunch is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate African American contributions to world history. There will be song, dance, and spoken word. This is a meeting of the minds to create a dialog on how attendees can increase their impact in the community and can better make a difference. Learn more HERE.

5. FREDERICK DOUGLASS DAY @ THE LEWIS: 200TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Saturday, February 10, 2018 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Maryland Abolitionist Frederick Douglass is turning 200 and they are having a celebration. His contributions to the advancement of black people are well documented so here is an opportunity to learn even more. There will be lectures, art, and more. 6. AFRICAN DANCE CLASS WITH KEUR KHALEYI
Saturday, February 10, 2018 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
With this month being Black History Month, it’s a great time to take a deeper look at our African Heritage. Dance is a vital part of the culture throughout Africa and here is an event where you can learn the basics of African dance! Come out and get a deeper knowledge of African Diaspora. Learn more HERE.

7. AN EVENING FOR ZOO LOVERS
Saturday, February 10, 2018 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The Maryland Zoo coming through with the Valentine’s Day Flow for lovers only! They will be covering lovers quarrels, mates for life, and the world of animal courtship. Discuss the world of wildlife matchmaking while getting to know your partner. There will be drinks, food, music and more. 8. WAKANDA ON PRATT ST
Sunday, February 11, 2018 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of the anticipation of Black Panther this month, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum is going all in on a celebratory day. They will take a deep dive into the fictional nation on Wakanda and take a closer look at the world of Black superheroes. There will be workshops, giveaways, and other surprises at this event. 9. FLOW WEEKEND CELEBRITY BASKETBALL GAME
Sunday, February 11, 2018 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Flow Weekend is a celebration of the DMV’s hardest working DJ. Not only has he mastered his craft, but he’s used his talent to continually give back to the community in Baltimore City. This weekend is his way of selflessly celebrating the city that’s given him so much. There are plenty of events throughout the weekend but the celebrity basketball game is the climax. 10. WBC 2ND ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF
Sunday, February 11, 2018 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you like chili and you like beer then this event is practically a utopia for you. Waverly Brewing Co. is hosting a chili cook-off where $5.00 will get you a tasting of 20 chilis.
