1. COSPLAY THURSDAYS BODY PAINTING
Thursday, March 1, 2018, 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Okay, so you’ve seen Black Panther. Now, are you are ready to dress up and get your Wakanda on? Well, for those who are interested in the body art world, come join them for Cosplay Thursdays. Heroes or Villains. Any character, as long as it’s created by you. They provide the templates, the paints, the brushes, and other materials to help create your fictional cosplay character. 2. TRAP KARAOKE: WASHINGTON DC

5. DSLR & MIRRORLESS BASICS
Saturday, March 3, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Come learn how to use that fancy camera that you’ve been afraid to touch. During this class, each person will learn how your camera works so that you can create the perfect image. Composing the frame beautifully, choosing the appropriate settings for your camera, and understanding how exposures are made are just the beginning. This class is specifically designed for those who want to learn more about their own camera’s work and those elusive manual exposure settings. 6. MAYOR MARION BARRY, JR. STATUE DEDICATION

When you think of Mayor Marion Barry, you think of DC. Come celebrate his legacy at his statue dedication. Be a witness to DC history as Mayor Muriel Bowser, Chairman Phil Mendelson, the Council of the District of Columbia and the Commission to Commemorate as they recognize the Honorable Marion Barry, Jr. You are all cordially invited to this outdoor event at The John A. 7. ACT LIKE A LADY, THINK LIKE A BOSS: WOMEN’S HERSTORY CONFERENCE

To celebrate Women’s History Month during their conference in Washington DC, they’ll have open discussions with their audience on women topics from the #metoo campaign, being a woman in the workplace, and entrepreneurship.
