2. CARTOONS + CEREAL

Paying homage to Kendrick Lamar’s popular song, the Cartoons & Cereal Art Show displays artwork relevant to cartoon series in the 90s and early 2000s to create a night of nostalgia. At the event, guests will be served popular cereal options with their choice of milk. This event creates a fun and relaxing atmosphere allowing hardworking adults to relive fun memories from their childhood while enjoying cereal, friends, and live music. Hosted by David Morgan and Cicely Rue including sounds from Wolf Cognito (DJ KMOR and DJ MissBlkAmerikah Destiny Missblkamerikah Jones), DJ ANaturalHiiigh and more. 3. MAIN ST. FT. WORTH ART FESTIVAL
Thursday, April 19, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Festival season means it’s time to celebrate music, art, and food. Take a trip to Sundance Square as they celebrate one of the top Downtowns in the country along a magnificent mile of art, music, and food. See who is showing this year in the one-of-a-kind, online gallery. 223 artists from around the world made the cut. Whether it’s crawfish, turkey legs, bratwurst, gourmet hamburgers, funnel cakes or ice cream, festival-goers have choices to satisfy almost any taste bud. Check out some historical African American landmarks and learn about the significant contributions to the Triple D.
